What is that all about?
A few months ago we began working on a free tool with the purpose of connecting language exchangers all around the world. We called it CoffeeStrap, because it helps you to bootstrap your practicing languages, coffee after coffee.
Is the platform working yet?
We got great feedback, and a lot of language exchangers joined the mailing list from all over the world. We are now keeping our promises by delivering today the first beta version of the working platform.
Tell me more, how can I use it?
CoffeeStrap sends you an email everytime somebody, whose selected practicing languages are compatible with yours, is around you and want to meet up for a coffee. It is a free service, and you can join it by going here, selecting where you live as well as what languages you’d like to speak, and leaving your email. We will keep it safe, and won’t bother you with annoying messages.
What happens when CoffeeStrap finds me a language exchange match?
Whenever you are notified that a compatible language exchanger is around you, you will be both granted access to a meeting room, where you can iterate and come up with times and a locations of mutual availability.
Once common times and places are selected, you are able to chat, get to know each other, and define the logistics of your CoffeeStrap.
Why You No Writing Me Yet?
We are now focusing on organizing the first CoffeeStraps in San Francisco and in Berlin, you can either register or drop us an email and we will get back to you as soon as CoffeeStraps will be available available in your area.
